INDEPENDENT TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS CONSULTING

Complex systems.
Practical solutions.
Better outcomes.

I help organizations find the friction between people, processes, and technology—and turn it into improvements that hold up in the real world.

01 THE POINT OF VIEW

Technology isn't the strategy.
The outcome is.

Too many organizations spend money reacting to symptoms: a broken workflow, a frustrated user, a disconnected vendor, a report no one trusts.

I start by looking at the entire operating picture—people, processes, platforms, and priorities—then determine what deserves attention first.

03 HOW IT WORKS

A disciplined process.
Not a mystery box.

01

Understand

Listen to stakeholders, map the workflow, and establish what the business needs.

02

Diagnose

Separate root causes from symptoms and identify risks, waste, and constraints.

03

Prioritize

Rank opportunities by business impact, cost, complexity, and urgency.

04

Improve

Build the roadmap, support execution, and measure whether the change worked.

AN ASSESSMENT SHOULD END WITH SOMETHING USEFULA current-state map. A prioritized risk register. A roadmap someone can actually execute.

05 ABOUT

A systems person.
A builder at heart.

I'm Tyler Soward. I work where business operations, technology, and the people who depend on both meet.

My background spans hands-on IT, automotive operations, service delivery, and software creation. I'm interested in the actual operating environment: the handoffs, the vendor dependencies, the workarounds, and the decisions that never make it onto an architecture diagram. I favor useful measurements, human-centered change, and improvements that survive contact with a normal Tuesday.
